Ilenge Development Foundation (IDF) is registered as Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) located in Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.  The organization drives social change and peace initiatives to develop the community of Msinga.

Our critical social issues affecting the community are battle consequences that caused factionalism among communities and the dissolution of family structures, which intensified economic insecurity and intensified poverty. It is also sad to recall the devastations caused by these wars that happened in the past within Msinga tribes and clans, which resulted in war-widows, where Women lost their breadwinners and pillars of their homes. Their status changed from Wife to Widow, they remain the symbol of Msinga-wars’ pain.
